Process Serving

Service of documents and turn around time

In the Melbourne Metropolitan area we anticipate effecting service within seven days. We aim to action all files within 24 hours of receipt and to maintain regular updates with your office.

Attempts are only charged if success has not been met after the third call. (eg. If our agent calls to the address several times and effects service on the fourth call, we will only charge a service fee.)

Should service not be effected due to the defendant vacating the premises, a non-service fee would apply. The documents together with an affidavit of attempt would be returned to your office.

Urgent Service of Documents

If there is a matter that requires urgent service, we can have an agent attend at your office to collect the documents and proceed with service as a matter of priority. Affidavits are returned without delay.

Progress Reports

All files are updated on a regular basis. We forward interim reports to our clients advising should there be a delay of any particular matter. We aim to keep you the client informed as to the progress of your files.

Affidavits

Our office can provide all relevant Affidavits, pertaining to all jurisdictions, from the Magistrates’ Court to the Federal and Family Law Courts. We understand the significance of correctly sworn affidavits and we maintain high standards in this regard.

Together with our network of country agents we are able to offer a competitive and quality service of all documents in Victorian Country regions.

Our own agents cover the Mornington and Westernport bay areas weekly.

Wherever possible we endeavour to obtain the most competitive price. Large distances between locations make it difficult to guarantee a flat fee.

Bulk Work

Our extensive experience in handling volume process service has allowed us to refine our field procedures to protect our client’s brand and to minimise service disputes. Call us to discuss discounts for volume/bulk work.
